The Balloon Basics course is designed to introduce delegates
to the fundamental concepts of balloon decor. The day consists of working with a
variety of materials and learning the basic techniques of balloon décor.
including:
- Constructing columns and swags
- Balloon in a Box
- Table decor
- Pearl Arches
- Double bubbles
- Bow making
On completion of the course delegates will be able to prepare
and present designs and be able to confidently commence working with clients.
The day also covers aspects of job costing, pricing and marketing your
business. Successful completion of the Balloon Basics course enables
delegates to apply for NABAS
membership.

This workshop gives delegates an opportunity to further extend their knowledge and skills using the many and varied balloons and other materials available for the wedding market.

The day provides delegates with new and innovative ideas for centrepieces, top and cake table displays and room décor.

This workshop introduces delegates to working with frames and other innovative design and décor products including lomey and pick displays. The session also includes working with:
- working with heart frames
- using lomey products
- pick machines
- table dressing
- 3ft filled balloons [gum balls]
- Rigging ceiling mounted exploding balloons
- Rigging balloon drop nets
- Using balloon release nets

Themed Workshops are designed to further delegate’s knowledge, building on skills already attained. The session covers working with crescent and curve foils, bubbles and a range of accessories.
Although referred to as “Wedding Workshops” the skills and expertise attained
easily adapt to all events/celebrations.
Note: Delegates will only be accepted for the Workshops on completion of the Balloon Basics or approved similar course.
